We previously talked about how baseballs are made. Did you know there is an accredited University level program devoted to testing that very same ball? Yep: University of Massachusetts-Lowell Baseball Research Center. Their mission is to test all Major League Baseball products with advanced analysis and to promote experimentation in new products. That MLB ball sitting in your baseball displays went through their testing first. The university program is the certification source for all NCAA and MLB bats.
Students at the Masters and Doctoral degree level have an opportunity to apply their sports engineering expertise in the pursuit of that advanced education. However, there are programs available for students of all levels to include summer classes and experience. Of note, graduate students have written theses on such topics as the impact of a baseball on a bat at 100 miles per hour, distortion of baseballs on impact and other topics most fans don't ever think about when examining their baseball card display cases and other memorabilia. Have you ever wondered about what makes a ball travel so far or not? The students at the center have!
Every collector is as different as the cards he or she collects. We know this and that's why we carry a wide assortment of baseball card display cases. There are 17 designs of top loaders, ranging in thickness and size. You can save pennants as easily as tickets with these.
